SUCCESS4ALL TO TRAIN 30 BAME WOMEN IN GOOGLE SUITE TO SUPPORT HOME LEARNING
Thanks to funding from the National Lottery, distributed by the Smallwood Trust, Success4All will be running a FREE 3-week Google Suite course, that aims to support home learning.
The funding will go towards training 30 BAME women, who live in either Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, North Tyneside or South Tyneside.
Success4All will also be loaning out, for FREE, a Google Chromebook, headset, mouse and a guidance handbook, prepared by Success4All staff.
The course is designed to equip mothers and carers with the tools that they need to support their child’s home learning.

About the course:
The course starts the week commencing 15th March 2021.
A total of 5 sessions will be running every week, for 3-weeks.
Sessions will take place every:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:30-13:00
- Thursday from 18:00-19:30
When completing the form, applicants will be asked to choose what day they would like to attend the course. The day chosen will become their allocated slot for the duration of the course.
e.g. if you choose a Monday session, this means you will have to attend all three Monday sessions. You CANNOT swap to a different session. Nor can you attend more than one session a week.
Due to the course being offered online, we recommend that only women with a good grasp of the English language apply.
Spaces will be given out on a first come first serve basis, so please complete the application form as soon as you can.
What will be covered?
- Week 1: Introduction to Google Suite, Gmail, Google Drive and Google Meet.
- Week 2: Google Classroom, Google Docs and Google Slides.
- Week 3: Jamboard, Google Forms and Google Search.
