Children in Need Biscuits!

The children at Throckley Learning Hub have been raising awareness for Children in Need 2018. This week, we baked some delicious biscuits and decorated them like Pudsey the bear!

They look delicious!

Our partners Play in Newcastle hold a ‘Kids Can Cook’ session from 3:30 – 5:00 every Wednesday at Throckley Community Hall. Here, the children are taught the important life skills of cooking and baking, which is then followed by a Learning Hub session from 5:00 – 6:00. Our Learning Hub is a safe space where children and young people can work with a volunteer and receive tuition on subjects like English, Maths and Science.
