Thanks to Platten Family Fund, Success4All’s STEM Challenge To Be Offered For FREE to 30 North East Schools

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a £7,000 grant from the Platten Family Fund distributed by the Community Foundation Tyne & Wear.

The grant will allow us to offer our STEM Challenge for FREE to 20 Key Stage 1 classes and 10 Key Stage 2 classes from across Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, North Tyneside & South Tyneside.

To reach as many schools as possible, we are limiting the free STEM Challenge to one per school.

Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

This scheme is only available to schools that have not received a free STEM Challenge in the last 12 months.

STEM Engagement Manager, Kirsty Hayward, said: “I would like to thank the Platten family for their support of our STEM Challenge programme. We’re excited to bring lots of practical, engaging, enquiry-based STEM workshops to KS1 & KS2 classes around the North East.”

Our STEM Challenge is a practical and team-based learning programme carefully curated for Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 primary school classes.

The Key Stage 1 STEM Challenge is a 3-week programme, whilst the Key Stage 2 Challenge is a 6-week programme.
