This information is about our November Online Tutoring Block (7th Nov to 17th Dec)

This year, we have decided to continue with our Online Tutoring.

We plan to run four 6-week tutoring blocks over the 2022/23 academic year.

Registration for the November Tutoring block opens on Monday 17th October.

Here is everything you need to know about our online tutoring.

HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD/REN?

To register your child/ren for our November 6-week tutoring, you will need to complete our online registration form: https://tinyurl.com/S4ATutoring2022

The deadline to register your child/ren is 9 am on Monday 24th October 2022.

If you have trouble signing your child/ren, please contact us BEFORE the 24th of October.

WHEN WILL THE ONLINE TUTORING SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

Our first tutoring block will begin the week commencing 7th November 2022.

You will have the option to choose between our weekday or weekend tutoring sessions.

Our weekday tutoring sessions will take place Monday to Friday from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

Our weekend tutoring sessions will take place on Saturday from 10 am to 11:30 am and 1 pm to 2:30 pm.

WHAT YEAR GROUPS & SUBJECTS CAN YOU SUPPORT WITH?

We can support children and young people in years 3 to 11 and in any school subject.

Please be aware that preference will be given to pupils in years 6 & 10 and who haven’t taken part in our online tutoring before.

Where needed, we may have to pair children and young people according to their school year.

IS THERE A FEE FOR THE ONLINE TUTORING?

To continue offering our tutoring service, we are asking families to donate £18 for each child towards the cost of the 6-week tutoring session.

Once your child/ren has a place, we will contact you with the payment details.

We never want your financial situation to put you off registering your child.

So, if you are not in a position to donate, please let us know.

WHAT CAN I DO IF MY CHILD/REN DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A LAPTOP?

If your child does not have access to a laptop we can loan you one.

The laptop loaned from us will need to be handed back at the end of the 6-weeks.
