STEM Challenge To Be Offered For FREE to 10 North East Schools Thanks to Royal Society of Chemistry
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a £5,840 grant from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
The grant will allow us to offer FREE STEM Challenges to 10 primary schools across the North East of England.
STEM Engagement Manager, Kirsty Hayward, said: “I would like to thank the Royal Society of Chemistry Outreach Team for their support of our STEM Challenge programme. We’re excited to bring lots of practical, engaging enquiry-based STEM workshops to KS2 classes around the North East.”
Places for schools are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
In order to reach as many schools as possible, we are limiting the FREE STEM Challenge to one per school.
You can register your interest here.
Our STEM Challenge is a 6-week practical and team-based learning programme for KS2 primary school classes.
The challenge requires children to solve ‘real-life challenges and big questions faced by leading North East STEM companies.
