WHAT YOU SAY
“This has been brilliant as it gives Jasmine a time and place dedicated to doing homework away from distractions. Thank you so much for the service you provide for the children. Jasmine loves coming and it’s a great help to me as we were struggling to get her to complete her homework at home. It’s great for her to have someone on hand to help her.”
Jasmine’s Mum
“I look forward to coming to the sessions. It’s really rewarding. It’s nice to come every week and see the same children because you can build a bond with them and know what level they’re at, so you know how to help them best. Becoming a tutor/befriender and not just a tutor was appealing to me because it’s less formal and more friendly.”
Olivia ~ Volunteer
“We had really positive feedback from a mum who had a great parents’ evening for her daughter. Her daughter does a lot of extra work in a 1-2-1 setting with us at one of our Hubs. Her teacher seems to think that it is paying off and she is improving across the board, especially in reading comprehension which we have focused on a lot.”
